Talk to an Ebenezer doctor by WhatsApp or Google Meet: follow-ups, test results, and reviews for high blood pressure and diabetes. In an emergency, call us or go to the nearest health facility.

What we can help with online
Care that doesn’t need an examination
An online consultation works best when the doctor already knows you and does not need to examine you. If the doctor thinks you need to be seen, we will ask you to come in.

- Weight-loss coaching starts with a health check at the clinic
Come in or call straight away if you have
- Chest pain, or difficulty breathing
- Heavy bleeding, or a serious injury or burn
- A fit, fainting, confusion, or sudden weakness of the face, arm or leg
- Bleeding or severe pain in pregnancy
- A baby or young child with a high fever, or who is not feeding, very sleepy or floppy
- Severe pain in any part of the body
Do not wait for an online appointment. Go to the nearest hospital or health facility straight away, or call us on 0393 249 844. In Ibanda, come straight to the clinic on Main Street: we are open 24 hours, with emergency service.
Needs an in-person visit

- New lumps, injuries, or a problem that is getting worse
The doctor may stop the call and ask you to be seen in person if that is safer. You can always choose a clinic visit instead.
How it works
Five simple steps

Book on WhatsApp
Send us a WhatsApp message on +256 772 626 077. Tell us your name, your phone number, where you are, and the reason for the consultation.

Pay UGX 30,000 by MoMo Pay
Dial *165*3#, choose Merchant Code and enter 586178 (Ebenezer’s official code), then send us the confirmation message on WhatsApp.

Get your link
Once we have confirmed your payment, we send you a WhatsApp call or a Google Meet link and the doctor starts the consultation. Find a quiet, private place and have your medicines, readings and any results with you.

Talk to the doctor
The doctor confirms who you are, listens, asks questions and may ask you to show something on camera. If you need to be seen in person, the doctor will tell you.

Afterwards
You receive a short summary of the doctor’s advice. If you need tests, the doctor sends you a lab request (see Lab tests near you below). If the doctor judges a prescription safe, the doctor will explain how you can get your medicines.
Some medicines cannot be prescribed online, including strong painkillers, sleeping tablets and other controlled medicines. The doctor decides what is safe to prescribe after the consultation.

Have your tests done near you
If the doctor requests tests, you can have them done right here at Ebenezer Clinic, or walk in to any Lancet Laboratories (Cerba Lancet Uganda) or C-Care IMC laboratory branch, through our partnerships. If you are near Ibanda, come to Ebenezer; if not, use the partner branch nearest to you. Take the lab request the doctor sends you. Results are shared with your Ebenezer doctor for review.

Privacy and consent
Private, like a clinic visit
- Before the consultation starts, the doctor explains how it works and asks for your agreement. Your agreement is written in your record.
- You can stop the call at any time and choose a clinic visit instead.
- WhatsApp calls are end-to-end encrypted.
- The doctor’s notes go into your Ebenezer patient record, as they would for a clinic visit, and are handled in line with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
- Please do not send photos or documents unless the doctor asks for them.
- A family member or carer can join the call if you wish. A parent or guardian must be on the call for a child.

For online consultations, please pay by MTN MoMo Pay. Visa card is available only if you are at the clinic.
